This community is shifting from closed posting to open posting with moderation.

These are the new guidelines for posting. They may change over time as necessary.

1. Identify the appropriate tag for your meme.
   
2. This community is meant to be an archive of memes for people to refer to, so please check whether the meme you've posted has appeared recently under that tag first.
   
3. Most memes that appear here are meant to be posted to the user's journal. Please close comments if this applies to the meme you are posting.
   
4. Some memes, such as the Time Capsule Meme, are meant to be hosted on the community. Please tag the entry as hosted if this is the case for yours.
   
5. Posts are moderated, which means I must approve the post before it appears on the comm. I try to check the queue daily, but do be patient if the post doesn't appear right away.
   
6. Please include the following at the bottom of the meme post, and place a second copy of the meme inside the <textarea> and </textarea> tags.
